  • Dissenters is leading a new generation of young people to reclaim our resources from the war industry, reinvest in life-giving services, and repair collaborative relationships with the earth and people around the world.

    We are national youth organization that started in 2020, and now has over 20 chapters at universities around the country. We are trying to build our chapter here at UChicago to put pressure on the administration to divest from the war industry and instead invest in the future of the Southside of Chicago.

    Dissenters will be having a national Divest From Death Week of Action from 11/6-11/12, and we really hope to be able join with other student groups on campus to take part and demand that our university divest from war profiteers, and reclaim the resources that belong to us!
